The "Interilhas" exhibition is an artistic and documentary immersion into the famous "Interilhas" tournament held at the Henri Dunant Stadium in Beggen. This tournament, which brings together teams from Creole associations in Luxembourg, is much more than a simple sporting event: it embodies cultural richness, migratory memory, and the integration of Cape Verdean diasporas. The exhibition offered a multimedia approach (photographs, written articles, video images, sound installations) on-site to tell the story of this annual gathering and, more broadly, to explore the migratory dynamics between Luxembourg, Cape Verde, and Portugal.

The Interilhas project is a transnational and interdisciplinary initiative that explores the dynamics of migration, culture, and community resilience between Luxembourg, Cape Verde, and Portugal, using football as its central vector.
Conceived as a multidisciplinary project between 352 ASBL & Lamine Doumbouya that highlights migratory dynamics, cultural intersections, and postcolonial issues. By valuing marginalized voices and weaving a dialogue between art, sports, and research, Interilhas aims to raise awareness, educate, and strengthen social cohesion around plural identities and the richness of diasporic narratives.

Focused on the intersections between migration, sport, and culture, Interilhas aims to valorize the lesser-known stories of the Cape Verdean diaspora in Luxembourg. It also focuses on educating the public about postcolonial legacies and plural identities, while promoting social inclusion through intercultural dialogue. The project particularly targets young people, women, and migrants—often underrepresented—while engaging researchers, artists, and activists sensitive to migratory dynamics. The project also seeks to strengthen social cohesion and give greater visibility to marginalized communities. The project aims to be a living testimony of resilience and interculturality, capable of inspiring an open dialogue on plural identities and collective memories
